Questions

Do emails come from my own address?

Yes. You connect your own email account with an app password, so emails come from you and replies arrive in your normal inbox. We never send from a shared address.

Which email providers work?

Gmail, Google Workspace, Zoho Mail, Fastmail and any provider that offers SMTP and IMAP with an app password. Outlook and Microsoft 365 aren't supported yet.

Is cold emailing businesses legal in the UK?

Generally, yes, when you email corporate addresses, explain who you are, give a clear way to opt out and stop when asked. Sole traders and personal addresses need consent. Gridline builds these steps in, but it isn't legal advice, so check the ICO's guidance for anything unusual.

Will my emails land in spam?

Gridline starts each inbox slowly, spaces emails out, keeps to sending hours and stops at safe daily limits. You'll also want SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up on your domain. Griddy can walk you through it.

What happens when my trial ends?

Sending pauses, but nothing is deleted. You can still log in, read replies and export your data. Pick a plan and everything carries on where it left off.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time, from Settings in the app. You keep access until the end of the month you've paid for.
